Research Fund 23/01 :: Jerónimo Bastos & Wadmilton Fernandes

Congratulations Jerónimo Fernandes (left) and Wadmilton Fernandes (right), two students from São Tomé and Príncipe. Jerónimo and Wadmilton are doing the Biodiversity, Fisheries and Conservation Master’s Program at the University of the Algarve and tuition is not cheap, so they reached out to us.

We’ve been to São Tomé a few times already, and even did a book on the local coast fish species, so we simply couldn’t say no and transferred these young men 500 euros each.
