Syngnathus typhle to Hong Kong

One of the secrets behind Flying Sharks’ success has been the multiple partnerships we forged with countless institutions around the world. At the top of that list sits the Alma Matter of our founder, University of the Algarve, where researcher Jorge Palma breeds no less than 3 Syngnathid species: Hippocampus hippocampus, Hippocampus guttulatus, and Syngnathus typhle.

These latter ones are precisely what we shipped to our friends from Ocean Park – Hong Kong, who’ve been ordering animals from us since the early days of Flying Sharks, back in 2006.
