Research Fund 21/12 :: Sara Cerqueira

Congratulations to Sara Cerqueira, who’s doing her Master’s at Universidade de Aveiro, studying movement patterns and behavior of ragged tooth sharks, Carcharias taurus, in the iSimangaliso Wetland Park, South Africa, while working with the Shark Life Conservation Group. We had just received some (very) good news at the time we received Sara’s email and, being firm believers in paying it forward, we sent Sara 985 euros to cover her travel expenses. As usual, we also made her a member of APECE, Faidout and Loving the Planet, all of which are doing great things for the Planet!
