Captive bred Sea-dragons

Holy smokes, 2022 was so incredibly busy that we totally neglected our social media… Only now, almost one year after, are we posting some of the cool things we did last year, such as moving these captive bred Sea-dragons (Phyllopteryx taeniolatus) from Loroparque to the Oceanário de Lisboa.

There was a (distant) time when only Zoos exhanged captive bred animals amongst them, but that time is upon public aquaria as well, with an increasing number of species being bred under human care, which means less collections from the wild.
