UK x 3

Another day, another three Flying Sharks shipments to the UK, namely to our friends at Sea Life Hunstanton, Lake District Coast Aquarium and Anglesey Sea Zoo.

We moved 26 of our XL boxes, totaling more than 1200 kg of weight on the TAP direct flight to Manchester, holding more than 200 fish and invertebrates inside.

Our friends from the Lake District Aquarium could barely close the door of their van!

These included Dicentrarchus labrax, Sparus aurata, Anthias anthias, Macroramphosus scolopax, Diplodus vulgaris, Sarpa salpa, Octopus vulgaris, Sepia officinalis eggs, Sparisoma cretense, Trachinotus ovatus, and…

…captive-bred Anarhichas minor from Iceland!

As usual, there were zero losses (actually, one D. labrax did not enjoy flying 🙁 …) and water quality was absolutely pristine on arrival to all 3 locations.
