Have no fear, this post is not about Flying Sharks moving Orcas all over the place!… But the interactions with Orcas along the Portuguese shoreline is an important matter to write about!

But, if you enjoy sailing, you may be aware that a local Orca population is causing some serious headaches to local sailing aficionados. If you’d like to learn more, simple Google the words “interactions with Orcas along the Portuguese shoreline” and prepare to be amazed at the amount of interactions in the last two years.

Anyway, the reason we’re posting about this is because we’ve actually been playing a somewhat active role in the learning process about this phenomenon, and you can read all about it here and also here, which is the most recent – and compreensive – article on the subject, sadly in Portuguese only. Still, we did our best in assisting the author.

We hope you enjoy it.
