…”If the Mountain won’t go to Mohammed, then Mohammed must come to the Mountain”, which is why we flew to Tel Aviv to meet our friend Alon Levy from the Israel Aquarium, where we spent one week delivering our “Shark Course” to Alon’s amazing staff!

This course covered issues as vast as:

4. Fish transport basics and equipment
5. Building a long lasting Aquarium staff – hierarchy and responsibilities

7. Functional anatomy of sharks
8. Stress – effects, clinical signs to look for and prevention
9. Veterinarian management
10. Anesthesia and pharmacology – basic principles
11. Nutrition of teleosts and elasmobranchs – veterinary aspects
12. Necropsy techniques
13. Welfare, training and enrichment – general approach
14. Training and enrichment in the Aquarium setting
