]]> Last Tuesday (Nov. 23rd) we were delighted to chat with the staff of the Portuguese Directorate General for Maritime Policy (DGPM), who kindly invited us to deliver a lunch talk on entrepeneurship and how can Government Agencies better assist business owners and operators in Portugal.

Needless to say a significant segment of our talk was focused on our extraordinary “Mobile Holding Station”, since it received funding from the EEA Grants Portugal program, which is managed by the DGPM itself.

During the talk we shared quite a few anecdotes accumulated over 15 years of moving live fish, such as our pains and tribulations when moving Rhinoptera marmorata form Istanbul to Madrid, mainlay for not having a dozvola, which is Turkish for International Transport Permit. Turns out we did have it, just not in the right format…
