August 4, 2022While most of the Western World enjoys a well deserved break, Flying Sharks powers through order after order, collecting, keeping, and packing fish like crazy!
That was the case yesterday, with another full day starting at the crack of dawn and shipments going out to Austria, Canada, Germany, Monaco, and Spain! Inside these lovely boxes we packed Abudefduf luridus, Plesionika narval, Octopus vulgaris, Symphodus mediterraneus, Symphodus melops, Thalassoma pavo, Tripterygion delaisi, and even some Asparagopsis taxiformis seaweed!
Asparagopsis are particularly rich in bromoform, which is incorporated into pellet foods for cows. This substance helps decrease the amount of methane they excrete into the atmosphere, and it is therefore with great pleasure that we are assisting a company in Canada fighting climate change!
Go, Flying Sharks and our awesome Team!
