Acrylic Polishing in Copenhagen
December 15, 2022Interactions with Orcas along the Portuguese shoreline
December 28, 2022Dear clients, suppliers, partners, and friends,
We hope you didn’t mistake our absence in October and November for neglect… The truth is that we were so insanely busy that our online duties got left behind… But now we’re back on track, thanks to our friend Ana from Wiredmkt.pt, who’s helping us keep on top of all things electronic!
And here’s a huge thank you also to Sabrina Sales, who’s giving us a life-saving hand with all sorts of Administrative issues, some of which scary enough to make the hair in the back of your head curl, but Sabrina simply doesn’t take “no” for an answer. Feel free to hire her remote part-time services here!
Anyway, let’s see if we don’t forget anything, because a lot has happened since our last Newsletter…
First of all, we just got back from our first post-Brexit truck moves from the UK, and we couldn’t feel prouder, because that was one tough nut to crak, but we nailed it! Click here to read all about it.
A few days earlier we had just returned from delivering 300 Scomber scombrus (and a few other critters) to Sea Life Oberhausen, but this was no ordinary transport, because these mackerel traveled inside an Air Portugal passenger flight with oxygen! Read all about it here and, of course, you realize that this opens endless doors of opportunity, yes??
Meanwhile, our friends from Tech Aquarium just landed their first job in Copenhagen and are rocking Den Bla Planet’s main acrylic panel. Read all about it here!
We also just got back from this year’s International Aquarium Congress and, man, were we busy there!! Read all about it here!
And if that’s not enough, two of our guys went straight to Mazatlán, for our second round of collections, with a real big one looming in January! Read about it here.
While part of the team sipped Pacificos by the Sea of Cortez, two other guys moved Myliobatis aquila and Dasyatis violacea by road and air to the Ozeaneum, in Stralsund (click here), and immediately flew to Norsdoen, in Hirtshals, with a pair of Zeus faber, returning with Gadus morhua, so read all about it here.
Last, and most certainly not least, the dates are finally out for EUAC 2023, and we can’t wait to welcome you all to beautiful Horta, in the Azores, so register quickly here!
That’s it from us, so please have a Wonderful Holiday Season and a Tremendously Fabulous 2023!
🙂
