November 1, 2022Congratulations Joana Bernardino, who’s studying anti-oxidant effects of Asparagopsis taxiformis algae collected in the Azores. This algae is also used by animal feed manufacturers, since it helps decrease methane emissions during bovine digestion, which has significant implications towards decreasing the effects of climate change! Joana needed to have her samples moved from the Azores to the Lab where she is conducting her MSc studies, in Peniche, and we gladly covered the cost of 50 euros.
