Congratulations Noélia Rios, who worked for us back in 2015 and is now doing her Ph.D. on bioacoustics, assessing the impact of sound from boats on blue shark behavior, among other species.
Noélia requested some funding so she could present her work at the International Bioacoustics Congress (IBAC2023), in Sapporo, Japan, and we were deligthed to send her 160 euros to cover her registration fee.
