March 13, 2022Congratulations José Trujillo, a Ph.D. student in Marine Science at the University of Otago, New Zealand, whose research is part of the Physioshark project. José is focusing on understanding newborn sharks vulnerability to predation, for which he is investigating both behavioural and physiological traits that are associated with their defence efficacy. His laboratory-based experiments are conducted at the Centre de Recherches Insulaires et Observatoire de l`Environnement (CRIOBE) located in the island of Moorea, French Polynesia, and there’s no way we would not finance such a cool project, so we wired José 750 euros and wish him the best.
As usual, our research grants also contribute towards the kind people from Loving the Planet, APECE, and Faidout.
