There was a time when we’d move live fish inside chartered Boeing 747s, MD11s, and other smaller aircrafts with oxygen bubbling inside our tanks without a care in the world…
Then times changed and that was no longer possible…
But guess what your friends from Flying Sharks did last week while partnering with TAP Cargo??
That’s right, we flew 300 Scomber scombrus to Düsseldorft inside a passenger aircraft with a compressed oxygen cylinder feeding them inflight!
We sh#t you not!
Needless to say that we took every conceivable measure of safety – of which there were plenty (!) – and everything went supremely smoothly!
Yes, really: Oxygenated Mackerels!
