We’ve done a lot of big shipments over the years and taken many orders that others in the field would say “Are you nuts???”
But never did we accept to collect & ship 1.000 fish in less than a month…
…and succeeded!
The first half of those 1.000 was shipped a couple of weeks ago, consisting of 200 Dicentrarchus labrax and 300 Sparus auratus juveniles, packed in 58 of our “XL” (78 x 57 x 48 cm) boxes. That means 58 boxes x 47 kg = 2.726 kg and, to our surprise (or not?…) the actual weight of all boxes was 2.748 kg. Off by 0,8% is not bad at all, especially after an all-nighter packing job!
Even better, not a single loss in transit or the two weeks after!
We couldn’t feel prouder of such a massive achievement. The only problem, of course, is that next time someone asks for something crazy like this, the Big Kahuna will reply “Sure, no problem! We’ve done it before!”
