As many of you know, we don’t just ship live animals to public aquaria focusing on conservation and education. We often get requests from research facilities, which was this case this time, so we were delighted to ship the University of London some fiddler crabs, Uca tangeri, with the assistance of our friends from CCMAR.
But the really cool thing is that these animals will be used in neuronal studies, focusing on… Artificial Intelligence!
The even cooler thing is that we shipped them inside small wet soft towels, with 100% survival, as usual.
