September 2008 - Ramon Costas (our colleague from Atlantis) and the Flying Sharks team board the DHL Boeing 757 and get ready to fly with the fish to Brussels.

September 2008 - Arrangements had been made with Philippe Jouk, from the Royal Zoological Society of Antwerp, to deliver some new water, and a 50% water change was made, but not before all parameters were tested.
| September 2008 - The flight to Dubai does not leave until next morning, so multiple arrangements were made to ensure the 15 hour wait in Brussels went smoothly. Water quality checks were regular, as were additions of Amquel (R), sodium bicarbonate and sodium carbonate.

September 2008 - The awesome Kalitta Air Boeing 747-200 pulls up as the team, and the Sunfish, wait to board and fly to Dubai.
| September 2008 - The Boeing 747 is loaded with 80 tons of supplies for North American troops stationed in Iraq and carries 350 tons of fuel.

September 2008 - Final stop: three hours in Bahrain to completely offload and completely reload the Boeing 747's payload. Even though it's 21.00 h (local time) the heat is amazing and the Sunfish are moved well inside the aircraft's hold, where cool air is blowing.
| September 2008 - After 39.5 hours, the four Sunfish are acclimated and introduced to their quarantine tank in Atlantis. Shortly after they were offered a small meal and fed immediately, responding to their target training in Portugal.
